ALL BRAINS WELCOME
MINDFULNESS & SELF-COMPASSION
Mindfulness can help us to get to know ourselves better and start to make friends with ourselves.
There are 2 wings to mindfulness, the first wing is noticing what is happening in the moment and the second wing is responding to what is happening with kindness and care. Mindfulness and self-compassion naturally go together and they are both natural human capacities that can be cultivated.
We all are unique for what works for us for developing mindfulness practices and it is important to be given opportunities to discover what works for each of us.
My mindfulness offerings are trauma-sensitive and are designed to support the needs of neurodivergent adults (such as ADHD, Autism etc). And are inclusive to people of all neurotypes, all ability levels and all identities. All brains are welcome!
ABOUT ME:
I am a certified mindfulness teacher and I am passionate about teaching mindfulness in an inclusive and accessible manner. I completed the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Mindfulness Teacher Certification awarded by the Awareness Training Institute & the Greater Good Science Center at University of California, Berkley.
Additional trainings I have completed:
-The Complete Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness Training-Part 1 & 2
-Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher Training Course
-Internal Family Systems for Trauma-Sensitive Practitioners
